2. How many visitors need to participate for the research to be considered valid?
imc² recommends a target of approximately 300 to 400 interview sessions to maintain an industry standard margin of error of +/- 5%. However, the number of visitor interviews can vary based on site traffic and time constraints, with little impact on the margin of error.

3. How long will it take to run ConversionMonitor on my site?
ConversionMonitor is designed to benchmark, track and trend site influence over time. Typically, the initial benchmark can be established after a monitoring period of five to ten weeks. imc² will make a recommendation at the program outset based on a combination of website traffic, required number of completed surveys and the desired ratio of survey invitations to overall site visitors.

4. What deliverables will I receive when I purchase ConversionMonitor?
You will receive a content document with a questionnaire script, as well as a simple instruction guide for implementing ConversionMonitor for your IT staff. Once we reach the predetermined sample size for your website, imc² will produce the ConversionMonitor report and deliver hard copies to you on a monthly or quarterly basis, depending on the specific program.

5. What are my options if I am seeking additional information about my site and its visitors that are not addressed within ConversionMonitor?
imc² has a number of options for our clients who want additional information:

  • Cross-tabulated reporting that will allow you to better understand the difference between site users who are in different stages of product adoption and/or the difference between audiences
  • Additional written analysis and insights in combination with the standard ConversionMonitor report(s)
  • An in-depth presentation of the research findings and implications that explores and explains the data in more detail
  • Visitor Insight Testing, a customized version of ConversionMonitor that is focused on site usability

6. How will imc² handle visitor data?
All of the data that imc² collects while implementing ConversionMonitor is confidential. The data is stripped of any personally identifiable information prior to analysis and all reporting is done in aggregate and is accessible only by consent of the sponsoring client. imc² does not and will not sell, trade or rent personally identifiable information to others outside of the client’s organization.

7. How will imc² comply with HIPAA and other privacy laws while implementing ConversionMonitor?
